Yoga cleanses the body of impurities, physically, mentally, and spiritually. By spirit I mean, breath. Our breath is always there providing us with inspiration. Through the practice of yoga you become aware of your own body and, in a sense, become your own teacher. In yoga you learn about yourself to bring you closer to health and integration.

In my classes, I initially play the role of teacher, then the role of guide to assist students in finding the right yoga for their bodies. The ‘right’ yoga is a way of moving and breathing that is natural and efficient, and not habitual. I teach beginners the essential tools to build themselves a safe yoga practice and more experienced students a way to maintain a practice that is rich and alive.

We have three friends: gravity, breath, and wave (connected with the supple movement of extension along the spine). These three companions (fused) should be constantly with us.
